Mireia Lopez is a highly qualified primary school teacher with an MA in Psychology of Education, a certificate in therapeutic play skills, and Train the Trainer Level 6. In 2017, she founded Discovery Playtime to promote play-based learning for children's positive development. Originally trained in Barcelona, Mireia moved to Ireland in 2011 and now specializes in play and art-based learning, aligning her approach with Ireland’s new primary curriculum. She also facilitates teacher training sessions and webinars, helping educators turn curriculum concepts into engaging, hands-on activities for children. Additionally, Mireia hosts the Rediscovering Childhood Podcast, where she shares insights on play, education, and mindful parenting.
