Supporting Spanish Educators Working in Early Years in Ireland
Moving from the Spanish education system into an Irish Early Years setting can be a much bigger transition than simply working in a different country. This specialist training helps educators understand Aistear, the Irish Early Years approach and the why behind practices that may feel very different from what they experienced in Spain.

Meet Mireia: Play-Based Learning Advocate
Teacher | Play Specialist | CPD Facilitator | Podcast Host
Mireia Lopez is a qualified primary school teacher with an MA in Psychology of Education, a certificate in Therapeutic Play Skills, and Train the Trainer Level 6.
In 2017, she founded Discovery Playtime to promote play-based learning for children’s positive development. Originally from Barcelona, Mireia has been working in Ireland since 2011, specialising in play and art-based learning aligned with the new Irish primary curriculum.
She also hosts the Rediscovering Childhood Podcast, sharing ideas and inspiration on play, education, and mindful parenting.
