No, we have plenty of activities to fill the day but the environment will be very relaxed. We follow the child's lead and we follow a structure that will allow children to feel comfortable and engage in group activities as the day goes on.

We offer an inclusive space and activities but our ratio is 1 adult for every 12 children at the camps as established by Tusla so we can't offer individual guidance during the activities.

We offer a great variety of activities throughout the day and the week, including games, art, messy play, outdoor play, music and dancing!

This is something we hear all the time, and honestly, some of the children who are most unsure on day one end up being the ones who never want to leave by day two. We put a huge emphasis on welcome, connection, and helping children feel comfortable from the moment they arrive. Our staff are very warm, gentle, and experienced, and there is never any pressure to join in before a child is ready. We follow the child’s lead, build trust naturally through play, and give children the time and space they need to settle in their own way.

There is so much real learning happening underneath the fun. Every activity is carefully thought through and designed with child development in mind, even if it just feels like play to the children. Through sensory play, creativity, movement, games, and open-ended activities, children are building confidence, communication skills, resilience, independence, emotional regulation, and problem-solving skills without even realising it. All of our camps are facilitated by qualified teachers and experienced staff who deeply understand how children learn best through play and connection.

No, our camps operate as drop-off programmes.

Over the years, we've found that children settle best when they have the opportunity to build relationships with our facilitators and connect with their peers independently.

Having parents remain on site can sometimes make it more difficult for children to engage fully in the camp experience and may increase separation anxiety for other children who are working hard to settle into the group.

Our team is experienced in supporting children as they transition into camp, and we use a variety of strategies to help them feel safe, welcome, and confident.

For example, if your child receives additional support in school, has a Special Needs Assistant (SNA), a 1:1 support worker, requires significant adult assistance, or benefits from specific strategies to help them participate successfully, it is important that we are aware of this in advance.

Our camps operate as group-based programmes with fixed staff-to-child ratios, and parents or support workers do not remain on site during camp sessions. By discussing your child's needs beforehand, we can work together to determine whether the camp is the right fit and identify any reasonable supports that may help your child have a positive and successful experience.
